What was the highlight of Dormy Inn Hirosaki
Usual Dormy Inn features although this property is a little old.
I like Dormy inns with onsen, coffee and apple juice in the lobby also welcome treats in the restaurant 3pm to 6pm. This particular property is a little old with real keys.Quite close walking distance to Hirosaki castle.Quiet, comfortable bed.
I found the onsen too hot. No outdoor individual tubs like some Dormy inns. Wifi although « secured » had weak security according to my virus protection. A little far from the station but there is a hotel shuttle to the station in the morning.

Great value with extras!!
The room is amazing with every detail covered. The staff are friendly, professional and willing to help with any queries. The onsen area is spectacular, way beyond expectations. It’s a few minutes walk from the castle with a few eateries within walking distance.
Nothing!! In fact, I had difficulty getting information about transport options from the station, but on arrival at the station a taxi is only Y1,200. On my return I discovered they provide a free shuttle to the station, so fret not!

Isn’t the first Dormy Inn I’ve stayed at won’t be the last. Just wish they’d get more tattoo friendly.
Good rooms, clean and well taken care of.
It seems to be a Dormy Inn rule not to allow tattoos in the bathhouse. I get that’s their rule but just kinda feel they should move on.

very clean, extremely lovely onsen with spectacular views, excellent breakfast with many choices
smaller rooms, would have loved a luggage rack in the room, a fair distance from the main station
